EHOBO’s mission is to reduce premature deaths of children less than seven years of age in the Congo. By utilizing the help of local, trained nutritionists, doctors, and nurses, EHOBO empowers the Congolese by educating them on food preparation, the importance of food cleanliness, nutrition, hygiene, and child care through a series of demonstrations and follow-up workshops.

Honors College students, some of whom have traveled to South Africa, raise funds for a soup kitchen and a village that cares for HIV+ children. They host a major community event in March that’s fun for all ages.
